Maintenance and Sailing

Toucando has had a lot of engineering work over the winter. Most of the engine hoses have been replaced; we have a new exhaust elbow; the alternator has been serviced; etc.. Last weekend we moved to the Hamble where attention is turning to the hull and the deck.









I am hoping to get lots of sanding, varnishing and painting over the next couple of months. Anybody who enjoys that sort of thing is welcome to come along and help in exchange for beer and sandwiches. Email me: toucando(at)citybeat(dot)org(dot)uk
I hope to be ready for the Yarmouth Old Gaffers Festival Thursday 29th May to Sunday 1st June. I hope to do some weekend sailing in June, then in July we'll head east towards Holland. This will probably take the form of a series of weekend hops along the coast (I'll have to go off and do some work midweek). Then there will be the Gaffers' Dutch cruise, as described in the previous post. Potential crew are welcome to get in touch.
